We took our 11 year old rescue to Nancy to help after he had a stroke. Nancy did a through exam and analysis and wrote out a plan for Leo. Anyone wanting an honest professional PT place for your dog, this is the place.

Cattee (our dog) was overweight because of wrong nutritional information given by the veterinarian. She attended 10 sessions of water treadmill at paws pt. In addition her diet was changed to the correct nutrition. She responded with a 5 pound weight loss and much improved physical activity and stamina. Nancy was great with the dog and very encouraging with us. I would recommend her highly to anyone who’s pet needed physical therapy.

My Pug, Cupcake has Pug Myelopathy (constrictive myelopathy) and Nancy has been working with her for 3 years now. Without physical therapy she would have lost her mobility by now. Nancy is very kind and compassionate to the animals and also to their owners. I highly recommend Paws PT!

My almost 14-year-old Puggle has IVDD and arthritis and had a pretty bad injury in November. I was told by my vet that my options were pain management, surgery, or kindness (euthanasia). I debated during her strict recovery period until she was in a better spot and then she slipped while jumping for a treat and reinjured herself. I immediately made the decision to start with the very basics and work on her physical/muscle health first before any drastic measures were taken, and I’m so glad we decided on PT with Nancy. Two treatments in, I thought it was my hopeful imagination that she was better, but it wasn’t. After two months, she is doing her exercises daily like the little champion she is, and she just walked a full mile this morning. We couldn’t be happier with her progress. Nancy is kind, patient, and knowledgeable and I can’t recommend her enough.

First day Buddy was so tired he fell asleep as soon as he got in the car. Walking on his right bad leg and moving around a lot better. Second visit, he did his therapy and later chiropractic adjustment. Can’t wait to see progress!!!

This review is written after a 1.5 years of weekly sessions at Paws PT for my dog, Domino (aka, "Mr. No No"):

Let me tell you a short story. I took Domino to the vet in June 2021. Domino was 13, and, at that time, I noticed that he started to have some weakness in his hind legs and was struggling to walk. Domino had diabetes, along with a host of other health problems, and after some tests and images that didn't show anything specific, and no serious arthritis, we all chalked it up to old age and neuropathy. The vet told me that I should expect him to walk for only a few more months, and by the looks of it, he was right. But, I wasn't having any of that. I politely said, "we'll see," and immediately went home to research therapies. A Google search lead me to Nancy and we started physical therapy sessions with her almost immediately. Every Saturday, for a year-and-a-half, Domino and I would get in the car and drive an hour each way to see Nancy. And, for a year-and-a-half, Domino WALKED. In fact, I would often tell Domino, "You have to keep walking because when the time comes I can't be there to carry you across the Rainbow Bridge." And, he did. He walked every single day until this Monday, when the time came for him to walk across the Rainbow Bridge all by himself. I know, 100%, that it was because of Nancy that he did.

Nancy is dedicated to every single animal that comes into her clinic. I have seen it. Like one reviewer said, "she truly cares about the dog and the owner," and this couldn't be more true. She is knowledgeable, professional, and caring, but she is also a friend. And, I promise you that she will try everything in her power to help your dog/cat/whatever just like she did for me and Domino.

Here is a picture of Domino walking on the underwater treadmill in his very first session.

My dog Wally had degenerative myelopathy. It's an incurable disease it gradually causes the dog to lose control of his body. Shortly after his diagnosis, I started doing twice a week and then three times a week therapy sessions with Nancy of Paws PT. While the physical therapy could not stop the progression of the disease, it may have slowed it, and it certainly helped Wally maintain strength and agility in the parts of his body that he still controlled.

When he was diagnosed, he was only given two or three months to live. However, we were able to extend that for 27 months, including daily walks around our neighborhood, eventually with the aid of a wheelchair that Nancy helped us procure. In the end, Wally succumbed to an unrelated ailment.

Wally and his support dog Casey loved going for physical therapy to Nancy's, and always wanted to stay longer. It was also very helpful for me. Degenerative myelopathy is a hard disease for the owner, because it's not easy to see your best friend slowly but surely deteriorate. Nancy's cheerful personality and helpfulness enabled me to maintain the right attitude so I could support Wally in his time of need. I couldn't recommend her more.

My American Akita did about 3 months of PT here after he recovered from surgery for an injury to his hock. His toes after surgery were loose and he kept slipping off the toe pads. Nancy had him do various exercises with her, as well as laser therapy, and also taught me exercises I could do with him at home. After all the work his toes are basically back to normal! They are nice and tight and he no longer seems to slip off the toe pads. Would also like to add that my dog is very exuberant and stubborn so it was not always easy getting him to do everything without him bulldozing his way through but Nancy was always very patient and understanding with him. He loved going there and we will miss it.

Below is two before photos of his toes spreading apart followed by after photos. Big difference! Thank you, Nancy!
